The Art Gallery of Western Australia has a dynamic and innovative cultural presence in central Perth, and offers itself as a one of Perth's most impressive venues that can be utilised for meetings, theatrette presentations, product launches, exclusive cocktail parties, formal dinners and special events.

While guests socialise they have the opportunity to view art exhibitions drawn from the State Art Collection or visiting touring exhibitions. To complement the Concourse, there are a number of additional function areas (both inside and out). These include, the Old Courtroom, outside terrace areas, lecture theatre and the newly refurbished Foundation rooms that can be utilised for a variety of purposes such as private dinners or small cocktail functions for numbers ranging from 12-250 guests.

An added feature when holding a function at the Gallery is the opportunity to arrange a speaker to provide an insight into the artwork, bringing to life the exhibition that will be viewed, alternatively guided tours can also be arranged.
